Took my two girls to see the Newfoundland Growlers Hockey Team at Confederation Building in St. John’s this evening.
The team was congratulated by the Government of Newfoundland & Labrador for winning the ECHL Kelly Cup Championship!
The girls got to speak with Premier Dwight Ball, and get photographed with some of the team!
The team made history by being the first ever professional hockey team in the province to ever win a championship!
Congratulations Growlers! It was a hard earned and well deserved win! We are looking forward to next season!
