Do you accept commissions?

Yes! I do accept commissions as my schedule allows. I am usually booked in advance for projects. If you are considering me as the artist to create your newest piece, please consider contacting me weeks in advance of you needing the finished piece to check my scheduling.

How much does it cost to commission a painting?

There are a few variables that determine the final cost, and are too numerous to list here. Things to consider are the size of the piece, research involved, and your budget. If you have an idea of what you are looking for, I can tailor a piece to meet your budget. Please contact me well in advance of your desired finished date and I will be happy to discuss costs and options so that you can have the final painting you desire.

How much does it cost to have a Goalie Mask painted?

The cost of having a custom paint job on your mask is between $600-$800.00.

A simple 4 colour design starts at $600.00.  See here. (An example of this type of mask would be similar to a Felix Potvin or Martin Brodeur style paint job.)

If you wish to have images, names, or various other symbols, logos or personal designs painted on your mask the cost is $800.00. See here. (An example of this type of mask would be Carey Price or Frederik Anderson style paint job).

If you’d like an accurate quote please contact me and I can give you the exact cost once we discuss your mask’s specifics.

All these prices include:

-mask breakdown with washing, sanding and preparation

-custom design paintjob applied with professional quality, lightfast, archival paints

-application of 3 coats of professional high quality crystal clear with UV inhibitors (the best quality on the market)

-mask reassembly

-professional photography done

-display of your completed mask on my website

How long does it take to complete a Goalie Mask?

A good rule of thumb is to plan for 4-6 weeks to completion once your mask is in my studio.

Of course, each mask is an individual creation and has it’s unique specifics and timelines. A couple of aspects are out of my control, such as the clear coat application and photography, which are done off site by other professionals.

If you are thinking of choosing me as the artist for your custom paint job, please contact me at least 3 months in advance. I have many projects scheduled and I can tell you at that time when you can expect your mask to be started.

Do you do framing?

I do offer framing for my own artwork. You can have your piece custom framed, or use the framing choice offered (check the description of the piece you are interested in for framing and cost).

All framing is done offsite, and you should allow approximately 2 weeks to have your piece framed.

Do you ship framed pieces?

Yes!

Each framed piece is professionally packaged and then insured & shipped through Canada Post (unless otherwise requested). Your package can be shipped to any destination.

How much does it cost to ship framed artwork?

There are too many sizes, weights, and types of framing to accurately answer this question. However, as a guideline:

For anywhere in Canada (excluding Nunavut),  approximate costs are between: $40-$60.00 (for a packaged, insured 6″x8″ framed piece) up to $110-$160.00 (for a packaged, insured 20″x30″ framed piece).

For anywhere in mainland America you can expect to pay about 2-3 times that amount.

For an accurate quote please contact me and I will get one for you.

Of course you can choose to ship any of my pieces through your own courier or account if you wish.

What happens if a piece is damaged during delivery?

All packages are insured. Should you receive your artwork and it has been damaged in transit,  just contact me and a replacement will be sent at no cost to you.

What is the return policy?

I will gladly accept the return of a product that is defective due to manufacturing and/or workmanship, or has been damaged in shipping. Just contact me and I will replace your artwork at no cost to you.

What about shipping times?

Unframed artwork orders will ship the next business day, provided I have the product in stock.  Framed artwork orders will ship the next business day from their completed framing date.

Orders may not be shipped on Saturday or Sunday, unless arranged otherwise.

I cannot guarantee when an order will arrive, but usually  packages take about 10 business days. Please consider this as just an estimate. I encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.
