If you have a girl in hockey (and I have two), you know what they have to overcome personally and outwardly to play the game and become good at it. They bring a joy and happiness to the ice that is uniquely theirs and lights up any dressing room. 

I designed this shirt, and the others in the HKY GRL series, as a way to show support, love and encouragement not only to my two little beauties, but to all girls everywhere who choose to play hockey against the odds and still let their spirit shine.  Long live Girl Power!
