Commissioned by the St. John’s Regional Fire Department in honour of the firefighters who have bravely thrown their lives in danger to save those in peril in the historic city of St. John’s, Newfoundland.

This heavily researched piece displays with true accuracy the transition through the centuries of vehicles, structures, dress and machinery used in St. John’s for firefighting then and now.
